Megan’s Paws & Claws is a local, no-kill, dog Pound in the City of Smithville (Missouri).  Stray dogs that come to the Pound are kept comfortable within the facility or are cared for in a foster home.  They are held for 10 days, waiting to be reunited with their owners.  If no owner comes forward during the stray hold, the dogs are vetted and are available to be adopted.

The Pound is not set up for cats, and dog owner surrenders are not accepted at this time.
